The City Mini is a full-size stroller that doesn't really make a statement in any way except the fact that it's light and compact when folded. It also scores highly in all our categories. However it doesn't rank quite as well as its peers because of a poorly-placed peek-aboo and storage that's a bit restricted.
It is, however, a solid stroller and one of our top picks for families who need something that can get them through everyday use and occasional adventure. It has a wide footrest and is well cushioned, so children will be comfortable. The seat reclines to a nice flat position, however we found it difficult to get it into place and took two hands. The adjustable support for the calf is an excellent feature that will allow your child to get up on their feet if they're exhausted.
Like the other strollers on our list, the City Mini has a huge canopy that is UV50 and that parents rave about. The sun shade is designed elegantly and can be pulled completely down. This is fantastic because it shields your child from sun, without having to constantly tuck the shade back in place.
The City Mini can be easily transformed into a double-stroller by attaching an add-on kit. You can choose any Baby Jogger car-seat and create an entire travel system from the beginning. The only downside to this is that the addition of the second seat can alter the look and feel of the stroller and some parents might find it a bit difficult to manage once they are used to it.
The City Mini GT Double Stroller is another option to the City Mini. This model is slightly more expensive than the single City Mini but it does come with some extra features, like "forever air" rubber suspension and tyres that make it suitable for off-roading.
